Sitting on a quiet farm track, a few minutes from Glengorm Coffee Shop, Shepherd's Bothy has been a ruin for the last 50 years but has been converted into a cosy cottage. Previously used as a house for the estate Shepherd over 100 years ago, later on it was used as the Gas works for the Castle.
There is now a sitting room with a wood burning stove and lovely vaulted ceiling. The kitchen opens onto the patio at the side of the house and the mezzanine bedroom open to the sitting room has a king size bed. |
