We stayed in Island Cottage week commencing 20/07/18 and had a great time, 2 adults and 2 children (ages 2 and 4). The accommodation is well equipped and in a great location. The car port is great for packing or unpacking if its raining. The gate at the bottom of the garden leads to the war memorial and it’s only a short walk to the harbour from there down steps. That’s also the start of the lovely recently resurfaced walk to the lighthouse (pram/buggy friendly), and the Kilchoan ferry is a great cheap option to look for wildlife. A great local playground is close by, enclosed garden, bath, washing machine, cot and highchair make it good for families with young children. The only suggestions we would make would be a folder of local information, some patio furniture and a cheese grater! (first world problems lol). We have already re booked for next year.
