A spacious and comfortable home from home with lovely views. No light pollution so can star gaze on clear nights. Ideal for a family and even the dog can come too. Quiet location and a short walk away (a mile or so) from a waterfall and from the Hen House take away cafe. Bring your own books, dvds, magazines and games if needed as none are supplied at this time. A good base from which to explore Mull.

We wanted to be on this side of the island to be close to Ulva.. and we weren’t disappointed. Cottage is superb, homely and pretty well equipped but it would have been helpful to have a couple of practical things there to start us off such as dishwasher tablets, spare toilet rolls and some bin bags. The house was nice and warm and it was great having the highland cows in the field opposite. Ulva is a couple of minutes away by car, as is Eas Fors waterfall. Driving around the island is pretty easy, even on single track roads as everyone obeys the ‘rules of driving’. We were lucky enough to see eagles ?? on a few occasions and also seals pretty much every day. Would recommend Dalmaclare.

We had a wonderful week in this cottage. The place is situated in a very quiet and peaceful part of Mull, well off the main tourist roads. The views are superb. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable and has a beautiful garden. The Ballygown Restaurant is a five minute walk up the road so you dont have to cook every night. We would definitely like to return sometime.
