Virginia3960 Foster, Australia Fabulous cottage
Crofters Cottage is the perfect place to stay on Isle of Mull. Well located - can walk into the centre of Tobermory 10 mins (although it is15 mins back up the hill but don't blame the cottage) - dear little cottage with 2 beds, 2 bathrooms and everything you could possibly need for a week's stay - kitchen is beautifully appointed in oak and has full stove, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, slow cooker, grillers, TV (plus TV's in the bedroom too) - a gorgeous little spot with outdoor furniture by the front door for a glass of wine in the afternoon. Only one other cottage nearby but great privacy. The final tick really comfortable beds and a great welcome from John and Hilda including a bottle of wine and biscuits. Oh also - a GOOD supply of toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, soap etc - so nice.
Sunshine_720 Spacious and well renovated property
We stayed with 2 kids ( 11 & 9 years old) & loved it! We really appreciated the log burning fire, spacious layout, comfortable & firm beds & beautiful clean, cotton sheets. We found the cottage had everything we needed - as well as the wine & biscuits too! It was was a great location - quiet but easy to get to Tobermory. We hope & look forward to a return visit soon. Mull was fantastic & we really enjoyed coming back to the cottage after a busy day out. I rarely write reviews but this deserved a mention. Thank you.
Dalmaclare Guest Reviews back to Dalmaclare
not everyone remembers to write in the guest book but here are the ones that did

We had a very relaxing week at Dalmaclare. I hadn’t realised when booking it that there would be so much space!
We had everything we needed, and more, and the Rayburn kept us warm when the temperature dropped in the rain.
It would have been helpful to know that the water wasn’t drinkable before we arrived, but no great harm done. I think they retested it last week, so maybe it won’t be a problem for future guests.
The dog was very comfortable too.

A lovely homely cottage, great atmosphere within and very quiet fluffy neighbours who popped there woolly heads through the gate when passing. The Ballygown restaurant was lovely and a very different restaurant experience. We have had a great week and hope to return again.

Dalmaclare is a lovely cottage in a beautiful location, any problems seen to right away by caretaker.

Dalmaclare is 50 minutes from Tobermory. The ocean drives are incredible as well as inland. We are a few minutes from Ulva Ferry and trips to Staffa. The Boathouse on Ulva offers fresh seafood and an ancient atmosphere accessible only by a two minute ferry ride. The Ballygown Restaurant and the Hen House Bakery are a short walk away. They both offer fresh locally made food. After being here a week we have been able to see and experience most of the island. Long haired cattle, sheep and lambs surround the cottage. Waterfalls flow behind us and ocean in front. Dalmaclare is a quaint stone home and quite comfortable. It feels like a grandmothers home and offers a lot of sleeping space. We have been a bit chilly as the mechanics of the home seem mysterious. The furnace seems to run on its own volition. If you are traveling from afar be aware that towels come to you at a cost and are not included as part of your rent. Those are our only complaints, it truly is a perfect location with perfect landscape and a panorama I will never forget.
