Beautiful scenery and Tobermory and it harbour is very picturesque with lovely shops to peruse local handicrafts and places to eat or just sit with coffee and look out across the bay . The coop is excellent if you are self catering with good quality products and ample choice and the smoke house is definitely worth a visit , up the hill out of the town for fresh fish, recommend the langoustines and trout pate. They also stock local meat products and the handreared pork and venison were excellent . The bungalow is lovely and in a quiet setting above Tobermory with well maintained gardens to three sides, the largest is hedged and there is furniture to sit outside in the form of benches. The house , bed linen and towels are lovely and clean and the kitchen and utility provide all self catering requirements for a family holiday. The lounge, which is bright warm and welcoming, has a view through the neighbouring properties grounds of the bay , which is stunning, being able to see passing sea traffic and the furniture comfortable and welcoming at the end of the day, home from home . We had a wonderful holiday seeing places we had been in the past and discovering new . Mull is a truly beautiful island the scenery beaches and encounters with wildlife are breathtaking , there is always something new to experience . This leaves you relaxed and eager to return. The house is a good base to explore from. The only things that I feel need to be pointed out is the actual geography of the bungalow , it is set on a hill overlooking the bay so the views are wonderful, but there is a very steep path out of the property passing other houses, down a very steep hill off the main street in Tobermory, which also means coming back up! , and also to negotiate entry and exits of the property there are some steep steps with rails which would cause anyone who has mobility issues concern and care would be needed with a small child. However I would definitely recommend the bungalow and Tobermory as a good base for a holiday.
