I'm sad to end my week at Deerside , a great location for my first adult visit to Mull. I hope to visit again in slightly more normal times. In particular the Ross/ SE Mull seemed to me very underrated. Thanks again, until next time!

Had a fab week for New year at Deerside cottage its beautiful. Its lovely wakening up to the Deer every morning. Sue and Allan are lovely hosts, will definitely return in the summer

Well appointed cottage with a recent refurb and the Local deer visited us every day. It is a ten minute walk into Tobermory, The only issue we had was the walk back to the cottage as it has a very steep hill from town, not suitable for anyone with mobility issues although the taxi services are readily available and only £3.00 to get back to the cottage.

I thoroughly enjoyed my week at Deerside. The accommodation was perfect & Sue & Alan, very friendly hosts. The annex lived up to its name, with red deer appearing on a number of occasions. It is ideally placed for walking from the door, to visit the Cheese Farm, Lighthouse walk, Aros Park circuit. I will be certainly looking at your website for other island options for the future. Thank you for your efficient, friendly administrations, I will certainly be recommending you & Deerside to others.

Our week in deerside was excellent. The apartment was very well fitted our with quality equipment. The hosts Sue and Alan were very friendly and helpful. We would be happy to return next time we come to Mull.

I normally stay in a hotel when I visit Mull but with variable quality and expensive prices, I decided to give self-catering a try this year and Deerside was an inspired choice. Very well appointed with high quality fixtures and fittings, I had a very comfortable and relaxing stay for a week. The appearance of several deer in the garden one evening completed the pleasant experience. I can fully recommend staying in Deerside to enhance a stay on this enchanting island.

Deerside was fine- nice location, well-equipped and ideal for either a single traveller or a couple. The owners next door were friendly and helpful in responding to the odd enquiry I had (Like 'where can I get a replacement watch battery in Tobermory?). I enjoyed the fact that there was easy access to the town, but the cottage itself had a sense of isolation. Didn't see any deer though! Can't see any reason not to recommend it unreservedly.
It was lovely to be back on Mull;I particularly enjoyed my customary visits to the Isle of Ulva, Calgary and Glengorm.

We had a lovely time on holiday and were very happy with Deerside cottage. It was ideal for us. It was spacious , very clean , good facilities , quiet but not remote, great parking and access , friendly welcome and hosts provided nice touch with milk and biscuits . Eagle landed on telegraph pole outside window and chickens kept us company in garden!
We would gladly return to Deerside in the future and I have already recommended to friends .
We might look elsewhere for next holiday break but will happily use your company again for future bookings

We really enjoyed our stay at Deerside and on Mull in general. I think we lucked out a bit with the weather too! Generally getting around the island was easy by car with the vast majority of drivers using the passing places correctly. We particularly enjoyed sight seeing around Glengorm (walking to the standing stones and then up to the bathing pool), Calgary bay was beautiful and the sculpture walk was really interesting but I'm pretty sure we missed some of the sculptures!
We had a lovely meal at Ballygown cottage and the scenery was spectacular. Near the end of the week we went down to Fionnphort for the short ferry ride to Iona. The beach at Iona was simply stunning and on a sunny day looked very Caribbean!
Deerside was great, very clean and tidy with all the amenities you would expect/hope for!. It is comfortable and within an easy walk down the hill to Tobermory centre. The local shortbread biscuits were a nice touch and my partner enjoyed them very much (I'm vegan).
The owners are very welcoming and friendly with good advice for sightseeing, but they also leave you to yourself. I would recommend Deerside for anyone wanting to stay on Mull.

Patchy weather but a fantastic week! Some terrific walks, especially a circular walk up Beinn nan Crabher & Beinn Flada just to the east of Ben More. Fantastic views and not a soul around. Saw two golden eagles at close range on the walk too!

Thank you Sue & Alan for a lovely stay and a warm welcome. Great location...deer on the doorstep! Fabulous walking and would recommend Treshnish headland and the walk from Dervaig to Quinish Point...absolutely gorgeous views.

Deerside is perfect, we have really enjoyed staying here. This time we haven't seen the big 4 but red deer at the window, a red plover at Loch na Keal and orchids at Eas Fors more than compensated.
