Kate made us welcome from the moment we arrived with plenty of advice about the local area .The cottage is a quirky island cottage with two sun lounges that get the morning and afternoon sun . Plenty of hot water and use of a garden …although we didnt get to use it much as it rained for most of the week. Mull is an amazing island and Calgary bay the most beautiful beach only a short walk away with some stunning walks nearby . We had a lovely stay.

A brilliant, characterful cottage easy walk to the stunning Calgary Beach. Felt very smug walking there, doing our bit for the environment and not fighting it out for limited parking. Cottage had everything required for a quiet, relaxing stay. Wonderful host Kate was a mine of information. The area is very special from a wildlife perspective with incredible wild beaches, deer, hares, shore birds, orchids, buzzards nest viewed from bed with a mug tea of a morning! Can't recommend more highly.

Frachadil Farm Cottage offers comfortable accommodation for families, friends, walkers, cyclists and those who want peaceful rest amongst the exceptional scenery of Mull's West coast! A traditional style farmhouse with lots of quirky features, retaining some of the original character, yet with all modern facilities. Both sun rooms are perfect to relax and read, the kitchen is homely with a warming aga and the open fire in the lounge perfect for cosy evenings.
The farm also has a garden for guests where you can barbecue and relax whilst enjoying the evening sunsets. The beach at Calgary is less than a mile away, only 10 minutes to walk or 3 minutes in your car and there are coves and streams around the farm and at Langamull for picnics and fishing.
