What a wonderful holiday we had on 9 April for a week at Frachadil Cottage. It was a wonderful location and so close to Calgary Beach and great walks and stunning scenery. The cottage was perfect. Still full of character but had everything we needed. Our dog loved it there too. We felt very at home from day 1 and Kate the owner who lives on site was so friendly and helpful. You just had to ask. It is not all mod cons but perfect for a walking holiday with our dog. Everything worked fine for us even the WiFi and the bed was so comfy and loved the skylight to look at the stars. The living room was cosy and the conservatory great to sit and watch the deer in the field and hear the cuckoo singing. Peaceful and quiet. The dining room was so quirky and toasty with a wood burning stove and full of interesting things. Loads of books and mags to look at too. It was an ideal place in an ideal location for a great holiday. It was great value for money as the cost of self catering has gone up quite a lot. Hope to be back soon...

Thank you for your help and advice whilst staying at your cottage at Frachadil Farm . I appreciated all your local knowledge and history of the place .
We had a lovely holiday on Mull and were very happy and comfortable in the cottage, especially sitting in the sun room in the evenings.
I’m glad I fulfilled my ambition of returning there with Tony to show him my favourite places .  I hope we can return next year.

Delightfully close to beach location, very clean, character-full, interesting, well equipped large cottage, (heaps of fascinating books) lovely garden, very helpful, friendly, welcoming on-site owner. Very dog friendly, loads of local walking, regular doorstep bus. So good we've re-booked for September. Thanks Kate
