Our first ever visit to the Isle of Mull and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The scenery is amazing and takes your breath away. The people of Tobermory are very friendly...especially in The Mishnish. The cottage is beautiful and we would recommend it to friends and family. It was our first visit to Mull and we loved every minute! Gardeners is a cosy, well equipped cottage which was a comfort after long walks in the beautiful scenery seeing otters, deer and an eagle. We enjoyed trips to Iona and Ulva as well as pottering around Tobermory. We ate fantastic food at Café Fish, Mish Dish and the Boathouse at Ulva as well as cooking local produce. We will no doubt visit Mull again! Thank you!

It was our first stay on the Isle of Mull and we have had a fantastic fortnight at this location. The cosy and comfortable cottage was a perfect accommodation to explore this beautiful island. Despite mixed weather we climbed Ben More, did long coast walks at Calgary and Carsaig, Iona and Loch Ba...and of course lovely Tobermory. We enjoyed the people on Mull as well as the fabulous scenery and landscapes. Thanks for everything, we will be back!

As family have been part of this island for decades we thought we knew all the best places until we arrived here! So cosy and comfortable. Our 8 year old and 4 year old loved their twin room with TV! The house is fantastic and the support if required is wonderful. We are planning to return soon and will definitely be coming back to this cottage. Grandparents loved the place too and want to take the showers home!

Had a lovely stay in this comfortable cottage - the ideal base for exploring the island and introducing the boys to the Isle of Mull. Would recommend taking a whale watching trip, visiting Iona and of course, Calgary Beach. The Tobermory Bakery does amazing cakes and bread, Café Fish does brilliant seafood and the kids loved the aquarium and glass making on rainy days.

We had a fantastic week on Mull and the cottage provided all we could ask for. The proximity to Tobermory meant it was easy to access restaurants, shops etc. We would highly recommend the MishDish restaurant - excellent food. We took a boat trip to Staffa and Iona which were both stunning places and the wildlife on Staffa was incredible to see. The cottage was comfortable and homely, thank you for your hospitality. Overall an excellent week and we are sad to leave.

What a beautiful cottage! Cosy and comfortable with everything we needed for our first family holiday. Finn slept so brilliantly in the travel cot that we're tempted to take it with us! It's been a great base for exploring Tobermory and we would recommend day trips to Ulva and Iona although they are a bit further afield. Also make sure you pop next door to the Tobermory Fish Company to stock up on seafood goodies!
The cottage has been perfect, thank you for your hospitality. We're already making plans to come back - and bring the grandparents!

Enjoyed our meal at Café Fish again and also had a great lunch at Am Birlinn. Another great sea eagle trip with Martin and Alex, watching the sea eagles again. Great whale watching with Sealife Surveys, dolphins, minke whales, seals, porpoises and numerous birds. Will have to come back - still not seen a golden eagle!

The weather has been gorgeous and we have been to every bit of Mull, plus Ulva and Iona. Lovely walks and beautiful scenery. We loved a whale watching trip with sea life surveys, seeing minke whales, dolphins and porpoise, plus numerous birds. The wildlife has been spectacular. We enjoyed meals at Café Fish, Spice of Mull and the excellent fish and chip van on the harbour. A super 2 weeks, thank you!

This is our second stay in Gardeners Cottage, such great accommodation, we love it. The weather has been mixed this week but that hasn't stopped us experiencing all Mull has to offer and we have seen some fantastic wildlife and eaten like kings and queens. Strongly recommend Hebridean Lodge, fantastic cooking. The mochas at the tobermory Chocolate Shop are worth a visit and you might see dolphins in the harbour, we did yesterday! Til the next time!

Fabulous cottage, photos don't do it justice. Well designed, sturdy build, deceptively spacious, modern fittings and decor, well equipped kitchen, minutes from Tobermory (a well stocked Co-op, a petrol station, fabulous bakery, bar and restaurants!!). Great base for exploring the island. Very quiet with the exception of the cockerel at break of day, every day. The cock-a-doodle-doing can be heard in every room 😴

A great holiday home and wonderful location. The house is extremely comfortable and well equipped. The only problem for us was the lack of BBC reception as we're big fans of tennis (Wimbledon)*. Tobermory itself has great character and Mull is astonishingly beautiful. Calgary beach and pony-trekking were the highlights of our week.

Really enjoyed our stay in the cottage. Lovely accommodation and very well equipped. Good base for exploring the island and popping into Tobermory. Lucky with the weather and saw lots of different wildlife. Paddled at Calgary Bay but a bit nippy for a swim! Café Fish was fabulous but be sure to book. Hope we'll be back again in the future.

Brilliantly appointed cottage near enchanting Tobermory
We have stayed a lot of properties in the UK and abroad and I think that this was the most well-appointed property we have ever stayed. The living area was fantastic and two good-sized bathrooms as well three very comfortable bedrooms. It is about a 10 mile walk down into Tobermory - although probably more like 15 minutes return journey uphill. Only 1 niggle no BBC on the TV - still it enabled us to miss the election!

We have really enjoyed our stay in Gardeners Cottage. The cottage is extremely well equipped, probably one of the best we have ever stayed in, certainly in Scotland. We had meals at MacGoghans, Hebridean Lodge (next door) and Café Fish. MacGoghans is great for atmosphere and good pub food. Hebridean Lodgewas great for food. The best meal we had was in Café Fish, excellent food and atmosphere. Also thoroughly recommend the trip to Staffa and Lunga with Turus Mara and especially the trip with Mull Charters run by Martin and his son Alex who is extremely lnowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife. Last day had a beautiful day round Aros Park - all in all an excellent holiday - Thank you!

Many thanks for the use of the cottage which was well equipped, comfortable and in a good location. Aweek of mixed weather, but 2 days of blue sky and sunshine.. Enjoyed a boat trip to see the puffins on Lunga and Staffa, visited Ardnamurchan Lighthouse, Sanna Bay and the new Distillery and spent a great day on Ulva. The less good days saw us explore Tobermory, Aros Park, the nearby lighthouse and a walk up the 'crater' loch. A meal at Café Fish is highly recommended. Altogether a great week of activities, views, wildlife and experiences. Two suggestions - sort out the TV reception and providing a large recycling bin.

Highlights for us (our daughters are 4 and nearly 2) included the Tobermory aquarium, Aros Park, Calgary Bay, the ferry to Iona and the Cheese Farm. The playground in Tobermory (nr the High School) was a real hit with the girls and we enjoyed a nice family meal at MacGochans. Thanks again for a lovely week.

Excellent Cottage...
We were very happy staying in this cottage for a week. It was clean, well equipped, good furnishings and within walking distance of Tobermory (downhill fine but quite a puff going back!!!). Taxi available if needed! It has 3 bedrooms, 1 king ensuite and 1 king and 1 twin sharing a bathroom. Excellent showers. Good sized kitchen with an open plan dining area and sitting room. Our hosts husband makes many things out of antlers. Some of his pieces are in the cottage. Loved them. Lots of information left in the cottage. Plenty parking. Bench table out the front and bench at side...real sun spot! Hylda came to show us the house and we were left wine and shortbread. Much appreciated. Excellent restaurant next door, The Hebredian Lodge and Tobermory Fish co 2 mins walk.

Stayed on Mull many times. This cottage is the best we have stayed in. Very comfortable and well equipped.A big thank you as well - booked on the 1400hr ferry but told by text the day before that the sailing was cancelled. We were breaking the journey from W.Yorks visiting family in Glasgow, rang CalMac and the only ferry available was at 0645hrs. So very little sleep and a 3am start from Glasgow. Rang at 1000hrs to ask when the cottage would be available (we had booked Crofters) and were told not yet but this was, free upgrade and ready straight away! Fantastic customer service. Thank you!

Lovely cottage, perfect for touring the island. Thank you for the wine and shortbread, we have had a wonderful 2 weeks. The weather has been gorgeous and we have been to every bit of Mull, plus Ulva and Iona. Lovely walks and beautiful scenery. We loved a whale watching trip with sea life surveys, seeing minke whales, dolphins and porpoise, plus numerous birds. The wildlife has been spectacular. We enjoyed meals at Café Fish, Spice of Mull and the excellent fish and chip van on the harbour. A super 2 weeks, thank you!

We have had a very enjoyable stay. The house was spacious and well equipped. We have had 4 seasons in one day but came prepared. Our very pleasurable trip was to Ulva. A good walk in the peace and quiet and a joy to see the primroses out. Interesting chickens and cockerel!

We have had a lovely week, the cottage is brilliant. Beds are warm and very comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need. The radiators seemed to have a life of their own but it was not a problem as we always had the log burner! Many thanks!

This is our second stay in Gardeners Cottage, such great accommodation, we love it. The weather has been mixed this week but that hasn't stopped us experiencing all Mull has to offer and we have seen some fantastic wildlife and eaten like kings and queens. Strongly recommend Hebridean Lodge, fantastic cooking. The mochas at the tobermory Chocolate Shop are worth a visit and you might see dolphins in the harbour, we did yesterday! Til the next time!

Had a lovely holiday in beautiful Tobermory, amazing scenery despite mixed weather. Great cottage, had everything you could ask for from a holiday let (more like 'home from home'). We'll definitely recommend to friends if they are visiting the area and will come again if we visit Mull in the future.

Fabulous cottage, photos don't do it justice. Well designed, sturdy build, deceptively spacious, modern fittings and decor, well equipped kitchen, minutes from Tobermory (a well stocked Co-op, a petrol station, fabulous bakery, bar and restaurants!!). Great base for exploring the island. Very quiet with the exception of the cockerel at break of day, every day. The cock-a-doodle-doing can be heard in every room 😴

Had a wonderful week in this beautiful cottage. Did a fantastic boat trip with Mull Charters on Loch Na Keal and saw 4 sea eagles. Also loved a trip with Staffa Tours out to Staffa and Lunga where we saw puffins, seals and even a minke whale.

A great holiday home and wonderful location. The house is extremely comfortable and well equipped. The only problem for us was the lack of BBC reception as we're big fans of tennis (Wimbledon)*. Tobermory itself has great character and Mull is astonishingly beautiful. Calgary beach and pony-trekking were the highlights of our week.

Really enjoyed our stay in the cottage. Lovely accommodation and very well equipped. Good base for exploring the island and popping into Tobermory. Lucky with the weather and saw lots of different wildlife. Paddled at Calgary Bay but a bit nippy for a swim! Café Fish was fabulous but be sure to book. Hope we'll be back again in the future.

Brilliantly appointed cottage near enchanting Tobermory
We have stayed a lot of properties in the UK and abroad and I think that this was the most well-appointed property we have ever stayed. The living area was fantastic and two good-sized bathrooms as well three very comfortable bedrooms. It is about a 10 mile walk down into Tobermory - although probably more like 15 minutes return journey uphill. Only 1 niggle no BBC on the TV - still it enabled us to miss the election!

We have really enjoyed our stay in Gardeners Cottage. The cottage is extremely well equipped, probably one of the best we have ever stayed in, certainly in Scotland. We had meals at MacGoghans, Hebridean Lodge (next door) and Café Fish. MacGoghans is great for atmosphere and good pub food. Hebridean Lodgewas great for food. The best meal we had was in Café Fish, excellent food and atmosphere. Also thoroughly recommend the trip to Staffa and Lunga with Turus Mara and especially the trip with Mull Charters run by Martin and his son Alex who is extremely lnowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife. Last day had a beautiful day round Aros Park - all in all an excellent holiday - Thank you!

Many thanks for the use of the cottage which was well equipped, comfortable and in a good location. Aweek of mixed weather, but 2 days of blue sky and sunshine.. Enjoyed a boat trip to see the puffins on Lunga and Staffa, visited Ardnamurchan Lighthouse, Sanna Bay and the new Distillery and spent a great day on Ulva. The less good days saw us explore Tobermory, Aros Park, the nearby lighthouse and a walk up the 'crater' loch. A meal at Café Fish is highly recommended. Altogether a great week of activities, views, wildlife and experiences. Two suggestions - sort out the TV reception and providing a large recycling bin.

We've had a lovely week on Mull and the cottage was the perfect base for exploring the island. It had everything we needed and more - thank you. Highlights for us (our daughters are 4 and nearly 2) included the Tobermory aquarium, Aros Park, Calgary Bay, the ferry to Iona and the Cheese Farm. The playground in Tobermory (nr the High School) was a real hit with the girls and we enjoyed a nice family meal at MacGochans. Thanks again for a lovely week.

Excellent Cottage...
We were very happy staying in this cottage for a week. It was clean, well equipped, good furnishings and within walking distance of Tobermory (downhill fine but quite a puff going back!!!). Taxi available if needed! It has 3 bedrooms, 1 king ensuite and 1 king and 1 twin sharing a bathroom. Excellent showers. Good sized kitchen with an open plan dining area and sitting room. Our hosts husband makes many things out of antlers. Some of his pieces are in the cottage. Loved them. Lots of information left in the cottage. Plenty parking. Bench table out the front and bench at side...real sun spot! Hylda came to show us the house and we were left wine and shortbread. Much appreciated. Excellent restaurant next door, The Hebredian Lodge and Tobermory Fish co 2 mins walk.

Stayed on Mull many times. This cottage is the best we have stayed in. Very comfortable and well equipped.A big thank you as well - booked on the 1400hr ferry but told by text the day before that the sailing was cancelled. We were breaking the journey from W.Yorks visiting family in Glasgow, rang CalMac and the only ferry available was at 0645hrs. So very little sleep and a 3am start from Glasgow. Rang at 1000hrs to ask when the cottage would be available (we had booked Crofters) and were told not yet but this was, free upgrade and ready straight away! Fantastic customer service. Thank you!
