The cottage, at Ardtun near Bunessan on the Ross of Mull, was well furnished and equipped, in an attractive quiet location, with a short walk through a field and a small wood to the sea. It's hard to be critical of a cottage we found to be just about ideal for our needs. We'll hope to be back!

Heather Cottage was positioned in the most beautiful situation. Wonderful views from the sitting room (shame about the weather). We spent a day on Iona which was well worth a visit. The beaches, within a short drive of the cottage, were amazing and our little dog Timmy had a wonderful time running around the rocks. Everything about Heather Cottage was perfect. Would love to visit again. So sad when I left because I couldnt get the vacuum to work and we had to rush for the ferry. I hope I have been forgiven.

We loved Heather Cottage. In fact it far exceeded our expectations. We spent a day on Iona, which was wonderful, although crowded. If we return, we'll try and come out of season. We had a meal at the Argyll Arms which was very good.

My new favourite Hebridean holiday house! The location is wonderful, well off the road and with open views to sky, sea and mountains. Nearer at hand, a beautiful private garden with a small summer house. The cottage itself is exceptionally well equipped and comfortable - beautifully furnished and with a lovely peaceful, friendly atmosphere. I hope to come back soon.

It was a delight to find this wonderful cottage in a beautiful setting. The cottage is incredibly well equipped with lots of attention to detail with comfortable , new furnishings and fitments. It is a good base to explore the Ross of Mull and a happy place to return to in the evening to sit and watch the many birds at the bird table and the uninterrupted views towards the Burg and beyond. If you are seeking peace, tranquility and comfort this would be a good choice for a relaxing holiday. Don't forget to spend time in the summer house you will not be disappointed

We stayed here recently as a couple. Heather Cottage is a beautiful cottage whose highlights are magnificent views towards the Burg and the sea towards Staffa. The facilities are very comfortable and have all been newly refurbished. There is a small garden with a beautiful summerhouse, which also has magnificent views. We also enjoyed spending time at Uisken beach, a short drive away near Bunessan.
