We cannot praise the Stoar highly enough ! Nothing was lacking! It was our twelfth visit to Mull and wish we had found this accommodation years ago! Mull is very special to us. If I am honest we were concerned that with all the media coverage, we would find it really busy but coming in the Spring it is just as quiet and beautiful. We will book again when we know our plans for next year,

We had a fantastic week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the island. Stoar is in a beautiful, peaceful setting and is very comfortable. The interior is lovely and very well appointed, we had everything we could possibly want. The shower was interesting (!) but we appreciate that due to the water pressure it's always going to be a bit quirky. I would say that the outside of the cabin would benefit from some attention and maintenance - there are bits of rotten woodwork and the decking at the front could do with a really good clean. None of that would put us off going back to the cabin, but I think it would improve the appearance and give the cabin longevity if the maintenance was done.
We did have to contact Carla Heyman while we were at the cabin, as some wasps had decided to make a nest in the roof void - we could hear them buzzing away when we were in the bedroom. As my husband is allergic to wasp stings, we were keen that this should be sorted out as soon as possible. First thing on Monday morning the wasps were dealt with, and we had no further problems.
We will definitely return to Mull at some point in the future, and would very much like to stay in Stoar again as it's a brilliant central location for seeing the island. We are working our way round the islands, so it may not be for a couple of years! I will pass on details to friends and recommend you to them - many of my friends have dogs, so dog friendly properties are always welcomed.
