We cannot praise the Stoar highly enough ! Nothing was lacking! It was our twelfth visit to Mull and wish we had found this accommodation years ago! Mull is very special to us. If I am honest we were concerned that with all the media coverage, we would find it really busy but coming in the Spring it is just as quiet and beautiful. We will book again when we know our plans for next year,

We had a fantastic week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the island.  Stoar is in a beautiful, peaceful setting and is very comfortable.  The interior is lovely and very well appointed, we had everything we could possibly want.  The shower was interesting (!) but we appreciate that due to the water pressure it's always going to be a bit quirky.  I would say that the outside of the cabin would benefit from some attention and maintenance - there are bits of rotten woodwork and the decking at the front could do with a really good clean.  None of that would put us off going back to the cabin, but I think it would improve the appearance and give the cabin longevity if the maintenance was done.
We did have to contact Carla Heyman while we were at the cabin, as some wasps had decided to make a nest in the roof void - we could hear them buzzing away when we were in the bedroom.  As my husband is allergic to wasp stings, we were keen that this should be sorted out as soon as possible.  First thing on Monday morning the wasps were dealt with, and we had no further problems.
We will definitely return to Mull at some point in the future, and would very much like to stay in Stoar again as it's a brilliant central location for seeing the island.  We are working our way round the islands, so it may not be for a couple of years!  I will pass on details to friends and recommend you to them - many of my friends have dogs, so dog friendly properties are always welcomed.

We love our holidays on mull, this was our 4th time in the last 3 years and are due back again in August.
We have stayed at Stoar every time and feel very much at home in such wonderful accommodation and a location way beyond our dreams.
Mull is such a magical place that after planning on one visit for wildlife photography we then then discovered there was so much more to the island you always feel the need to return.
All aspects from booking with you guys the ferries and the accommodation staff has always been 1st class .

A great place to stay
We stayed here for a week in June. The location is great, central to the island and the property is tucked away in a very peaceful location. It is kitted out very well, although there is no patato ricer ;-) My only negatives are that the electricity has to be paid for by £1 meter and the shelf in the shower is more of a hindrance than useful.

A perfect base for Mull
We loved the Stoar and its location. The place was clean, the bed most comfortable and on our first evening, were greeted the appearance of an albino stag. The field surrounding is filled with sheep and visiting geese, pheasants. There was a welcomed bottle of wine, milk and juice waiting for us too.

The best holiday ever we definitely come back at this same place and holiday home Thank you high recommendation

just a line to say we really enjoyed our stay at Stoar Cabin, Torlochan Farm, Mull recently (13th to 17th June). I’m afraid we forgot to write in the visitors book before we left so we were hoping you might pass on our thanks to the owners. We had an amazing time and the accommodation was absolutely first class. I hope we will visit again in the future. We would certainly highly recommend Stoar and your website and many thanks for the courteous and efficient service we received from yourselves.
