Drumlang Estate is situated at the head of Loch Na Keal on the Isle of Mull — a private estate set within approximately 50 acres of natural woodland overlooking the loch and the Treshnish Isles.
Guests staying at Drumlang Lodge or the Annex receive exclusive access to approximately half a mile of the River Ba, offering Atlantic salmon, sea trout and brown trout fishing. It is this private river access — and the estate’s position close to where the salmon run enters from the sea — that defines the experience and justifies the premium.
This is a private estate experience rather than a standard holiday rental. The fishing is the unique selling point, and every aspect of the estate is designed around it.
The fishing season on the River Ba runs from the 11th of February until the 31st of October, with prime fishing for Salmon and Sea Trout May through October. Traditional Scottish fishing rules apply so there is no fishing on Sundays.
Fishing costs £65 per person / per day and can be purchased on site.
