What a lovely week, weather just got better as the week went on! Manage to see a lot of Mull and surprised old friends on Iona. Lovely accommodation.
12th April 2024 The Abaci Family, Edinburgh
Easter crept up on us this year and with little time to plan, we took a gamble and found this little cottage available the only week we were available. After driving up to Oban it was nail biting stuff as the ferry was getting cancelled due to stormy weather. We were the last on standby to get a place that day. Tired, exhausted and unsure what to expect, we found a home away from home. We have enjoyed this house as much as the surrounding areas. The girls especially loved seeing the lambs, highland cows and jumping in puddles. Aros Park, Calgary, Iona and road tripping was incredible. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, Mull keeps on giving.
Thank you for helping to make this an incredible trip. We have laughed, hugged and sang songs round the fire. Read books, collected rocks and cooked as a family. Very sad to leave.
We have enjoyed the cottage and found the little book ’40 favourite walks’ invaluable, having done 10 of them over the week! Best meal of the week at Hebridean Lodge next door on Friday lunchtime.

Another fabulous week on Mull. The cottage is lovely as usual and Hylda & John always helpful.Lovely day out on Wednesday to IOna and weather hot & sunny, we always seem to pick the right week to come here!. Fabulous walk to Duart Castle from Craignure. Mull is definitely our second home. Will be back next year the the family.
