We are regular visitors to the Ross of Mull – for the amazing sandy beaches, crystal clear water and sheltered bays, where we love to go swimming and paddleboarding with our kids. Also the wildlife – this time we saw an otter, sea eagles and an adder! We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Julia’s place. The barn has been beautifully refurbished with very spacious and comfortable living space, plenty of places to sit and admire the beautiful views. The kitchen/dining area is fabulous, very well equipped and very warm. There are 3 luxurious bathrooms, beds were comfy. The garden is lovely too, with a short walk down to the edge of the sea loch, where we saw some gorgeous sunsets. Many thanks to Julia and Island Holiday Cottages for another wonderful trip to Mull.

We will be back!! Beautiful location that one can drive to various places on the island for day visits. The glass patio area was an absolute game changer, it allowed us to enjoy nature around us whilst keeping in the warmth so well! Our WiFi didn’t work and it could not be fixed during our stay which wasn’t the end of the world by any means but if you plan on doing work just make sure with host as I know the island connectivity can be up and down. Beautiful location, Julia the owner is so lovely and friendly, the Isle of Mull is truly life changing. I would definitely book this accommodation again!!

We had a lovely stay in Bremenvoir cottage and highly recommend it. The house is extremely well outfitted, clean and modern. It’s situated in a beautiful area on the Ross of Mull with easy access to Fionnphort for day trips to Iona or boat journeys. The host Julia is fantastic and very accommodating. Our ferry was delayed so we arrived very late but she greeted us warmly at the property. We had some car issues and she helped us get everything sorted. Our children loved the play area, seeing the sheep next door and a little surprise from the Easter bunny. This is a great place to have a break from a busy life and disconnect. The wifi is very slow as mentioned in the listing, but you can get a good 4G signal on the terrace if needed.
