May 2022
Just had the most amazing week on the Isle of Mull from 28th May to 4th June. This was our first visit to Mull & Creig Cottage was absolutely perfect. As a keen wildlife photographer this was perfect. The cottage is situated on the beautiful Ross of Mull close to Fionnphort. We could have had a week photographing wildlife without moving from the cottage. There were Red Deer coming right up to the cottage in the late evening & birdlife all around. We even managed to photograph a Long Eared Owl (a first for us) which visited two evenings running at around 9pm just as the light was golden. The cottage itself is spacious, well maintained, extremely well equipped & spotlessly clean. The owner Donna was also extremely helpful with some pre trip queries we had. We can’t recommend this place highly enough & we plan to return sooner rather than later.

I couldn’t recommend Creich Cottage more highly. It’s a lovely, cosy, super-clean, warm and comfortable cottage with incredible moorland views (including red deer) out of every window.
