Tiraghoil Cottage, is a traditional stone cottage, located on the Ross of Mull three miles to the east of Iona ferry at Fionnphort. The house is convenient to the village of Bunessan, with its hotel, shops, Post Office and restaurant making it ideally situated for the perfect Mull holiday.
Set in a rural peaceful country location, with outstanding views over the surrounding lochs, mountains and moorland, situated between the villages of Fionnphort & Bunessan. Ideal base for bird watching, with Golden/ Sea Eagles & Hen harriers in the area.

Location: 1 mile from the sea – 1 mile to nearest shop – overlooking open country side to the south with distant views towards Iona to the west

Garden: Fenced garden with garden furniture provided for use in the garden – car parking within a fenced space adjacent to the house

Heating: Total control central heating – electricity included in price* – starter pack provided for open fire, additional fuel can be purchased locally

Bedrooms: 1 x super kingsize double which can be unzipped to a twin and 1 single

Nice clean and cosy stay. Saved us from 4 nights of camping in bad weather. Good connections to Iona and surrounding beaches.

Lovely and peaceful location with all you need provided. Near lots of lovely beaches as well as Spar for supplies, and the ferry to Iona.

A little old bothy accessed through one of the island’s active farms complete with chickens, sheep and cows ready to greet you and take you upto the door. Situated in a beautiful inland spot within minutes drive of coast spots. I came here to do some drawing and thinking - as well as look for wildlife - and it was perfect, just wish I could have stayed longer. Thank you Gillian!

We thourougly enjoyed our stay in Tiraghoil cottage. It is very cosy and well equipped. Gillian was a very helpful host. We loved Bunessan, with a nice Inn, and a grocery shop a short distance away. And above all, we enjoyed our visit of Mull and Iona island.

Cute cottage, quietly located on a farm. Convenient for ferry to Iona (beautiful island) and Staffa tour.
