Lovely clean cottage with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Great beaches hidden away with amazing wildlife and beautiful scenery. It was our dog’s first holiday and she had a great time. The peace and tranquility were just what we needed. Would love to visit again.

This cottage is very comfortable and spacious for 2 of us but would still be big for 4 people. It shares a large private plot with Ardfin a 2-person cottage off a short, gated driveway off the ‘main’ road to Fionnphort about , 50 mins from Craignure, always allow extra time for any journeys. It contains nearly everything you would need, a Clothes airer for the utility/drying room would be useful given the weather. The cottage is nestled within attractive low hills and rock formations with a lot of birdlife, we especially liked watching the pair of hen harriers that were frequent visitors as they used the cottage for cover. Fionnphort is a few minutes drive away with a very small shop and a newly re-opened pub, which is the starting point for The Iona ferry or trips to Staffa/Fingal’s Cave or the Treshnish isles. There are 2 interesting walks from the cottage, all the way to Finnphort on the newish path alongside Loch Pottie or up the hill to the Potties visiting the Pottie Stone which can be circular via Fidden. There is a car park at the start of these paths about half a mile to avoid the road walk. Tobermory is about 3 hours plus stops on the exciting scenic route or under 2 hours via Craignure and the road which has lines down the middle. Loch Buie, the Old post office Café, Moy Castle and the Stone circle are also a good day out.
